Applications for Solo Nationals Scholarship Now Open

In an effort to promote our sport and give back to our region’s members, Cal Club Autocross is excited to continue its Solo Nationals scholarship program, which started in 2017.
Two scholarships will be available to Cal Club Autocross members:
One (1) restricted to a first-time Solo Nationals competitor
One (1) open to any member
Each scholarship will be $500.
If you would like to be considered for one of these scholarships, or if you would like to nominate a deserving applicant, please submit an application to your Club Rep no later than July 31, 2018. Each application will be judged on its individual merits, so compelling stories are encouraged and welcome! A decision will be made at the August Cal Club Autocross Board meeting. I really enjoyed your post it’s always refreshing to see a perspective on community, competition, and giving back. As a student working through coursework and deadlines, I often find the academic load comparable to the intensity you described in the competition world. At times I even think about signing up for an online accounting class to fit everything into the schedule more smoothly. Thanks for sharing something that reminds me how dedication and consistency pay off.
