Ask questions. Everyone is pretty friendly. Please don’t ask questions of drivers just before they are starting their run. Part of this sport is mental and they will be focusing on driving their next run. There is usually a novice course walk by an experienced competitor in the morning before the first runs and at the lunch break. Do this!! You can’t go fast if you don’t know where the course goes. A novice instructor is also available to ride/drive and give instruction. We have nationally competitive drivers who volunteer to help new people.
